Acadian Contractors, Inc. began operations in 1973 and is located approximately four miles south of Abbeville, Louisiana on the Vermilion River giving us direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. Acadian's facility has a 20,750 sq. ft. fabrication shop with two - 5 ton and two - 10 ton overhead cranes and 650 linear feet of steel bulkhead along our slip which ties directly into the Vermilion River. We handle numerous offshore structures across our bulkhead and accommodate ocean going barges in excess of 250 feet in length and 75 feet in width.
